Hi!
coherence 1.8 has dropped! Read our in-depth highlights blog post for more detail. Here’s the shortlist of highlights:
-
Networking Voice via Dissonance (voice integration sample is available now in coherence Hub).
-
Samples are now a part of the Hub, demos and docs included. Importing, updating, and learning are now much more straightforward.
-
coherence SDK Main Menu has been simplified and shortened by better organizing its contents.
-
CoherenceCloudLogin, responsible for handling players coming in from different platforms, is now a Unity component with an UI instead of just accessible via API.
-
New Opt-in Development/Release Workflow for Cloud means you can associate a single Unity project with 2 Cloud projects. This makes internal testing easier. Turn it on via the new Cloud Project Mode drop-down list, found in the coherence Settings window.
-
Finally, when sending a command you can now opt-in to receive metadata about who is the sender and in which frame it was sent.
The full list is available in our 1.8 Release Notes. If you’re downloading the new version, check out the Upgrade Guide.
